The
Ball Adjustment mechanize will support any size baseball. Some older baseballs shrink
due to age. The shrinking occurs during the drying out of the material. The BallDome display case
has a unique stabilizing platform allows small adjustments to be made to raise the
ball to the surface of the Dome, therefore stabilizing the ball.
This is accomplished by adding one or more o-ring gaskets to raise the ball so it
fills the void left in the dome portion of the BallDome display case. Filling this void cause
only the ball threads to touch the surface of the dome, thus the majority of the
balls surface never touches the Dome. This is important so signatures on the ball
do not rub on the dome, causing damage to the signed portion of the baseball.
The stabilizing platform supports the ball so it will not move once it positioned
for displaying. For baseballs with signatures, it prevents the ball from moving
from the desired display area of the ball. For instance, balls that are signed on
the sweet spot would be best displayed with the signature facing the front of the
display.
Combined with the bayonet-locking base the ball stays snug in place without moving
from the desired display viewing area.
An innovation not found on other ball holders.
The Personalized Labeling feature is a unique and special feature for a ball holder.
This labeling gives you the ability to identify the baseball.
Perhaps you have a Stan Musial or Babe Ruth ball from a particular game, year, or
signing event. Perhaps you Grandfather had the ball signed. Perhaps the ball was
caught at a game you attended. Perhaps a fly ball hit your mother-in-law in the
head before you caught it.
Would it be great if you could label this information at the base of the ball so
anyone who looked at the ball knew some history about the ball?
If you pick up a ball stored in a normal ball holder it is left to your imagination
to figure out what value this ball has or where it came from.
With the BallDome display case, individual balls can be labeled for display. It would be nice
to have a Babe Ruth signed baseball showing the value of the ball, where it came
from, what year etc…
Here is another great innovation of the BallDome display case
The Locking Base provides a positive lock that secures the base to the dome portion
of the BallDome display case. The bayonet lock locks the bottom so that the ball will provide
the necessary pressure to the Ball Adjustment stabilizing platform. This pressure
secures the ball in place so it will not move in the case.
Other ball holders only provide a simple snap lock that will not hold the ball in
place therefore the ball moves within the case.
The bayonet lock can be open and closed when you need to access the ball.
This unique function is a true innovation.
In the past baseball authentication was accomplished with a label stuck on the ball
or with a document describing the ball. The BallDome display case provides a new way to label
the ball with the authentication information and it is stored within the BallDome case.
The proprietary Authentication Lock Plastic ring is inserted and glued into the
bottom of the BallDome case securing the case from being opened without detection.
The special molded plastic ring has break away tamper proof pins that break if the
ring is removed, therefore invalidating the authentication.
These rings are not available to the public but reserved for only authorized Memorabilia
Factory OEM’s.
Rather than a few authenticators controlling the market, we have provided a way
that other experts in the field can use the BallDome display case to authenticate. This gives
our OEM customers a way to expand their business by providing a quality product
to their customers.
The Authentication Lock can be molded in various colors, with your company's logo
and even unique serial numbers. We can even mold RF ID tags into the plastic for
more permanent identification.
While most of the other holder products found in the Memorabilia industry are made
overseas. The BallDome display case was Conceived, Designed, and Fabricated at our Manufacturing
plant located in St. Louis, Missouri. The BallDome case is made 100% in the United States.
The product was:
- Designed with Solidworks 3D Cad Software
- Fabricated in our Mold making shop
- Injected in our plastic injection plant
